Summary of Events
Regime militias from pro-Assad villages in the province of Hama committed a new massacre in the village of Douma in the same province. Militias raided the village in coordination with the security forces and field-executed 15 civilians and burnt many private properties.
Regime forces killed at least 114 today; 34 fell in the capital as the Syrian army shelled the suburbs of Erbin, Hamouriya, Bait Sawa, Zabadani, Daraya, Moadamiya, and Malaiha, 27 in the province of Hama as a result of the massacre in Douma and the shelling of the towns of Soran and Qalat Madiq, 23 in the province of Homs as the Syrian army shelled the cities of Tal Kalakh, Homs, Qasir, Rastan and Ghanto, and 13 in the city of Deir Azzour as a result of continued shelling.
The regime’s violations continued across the country as its forces shelled the towns of Khan Sheikhoun and Kansafra and raided the village of Najya in the province of Idlib amid heavy shelling and random fire, shelled the towns of Naima, Tafas, Kafar Shams, Um Mayazin, Dael and Ghabagheb and the city of Daraa, shelled the villages of Salma and Doreen in the province of Latakia, and opened heavy fire on the city of Boukamal in the province of Deir Azzour.
